Last Halloween, my son
was old enough to go out trick ‘r treating on his own with his teen
age friends. So I sat on the second floor porch at home and treated
the neighborhood to some scary minor concertina tunes including
this one by me... Mean Streets.
This tune works fine for contra dancing and my bands play it in Em, a good key for fiddle and G/D Anglo concertina. However, I think it sounds great on my new Morse Céilí C/G concertina so that’s what I’ve recorded here. Both the original Em and the higher transposed version in Am are included here for your playing pleasure.
