American Flyer
When I play this step hop tune of
mine on the concertina, my imagination fills in all the missing
parts of a big English ceilidh band, chugging away with the
momentum of a railroad train. Bass, drums, percussion and other
melody instruments are all playing away in my mind’s ear. So,
rather than getting the guys together and teaching them how to play
a step hop tune, I used some modern technology to play all the
parts myself.
Here we have Paul Friedman on fiddle and myself on G/D Anglo starting it off and then my virtual Jody band kicks in. American Flyer works great on C/G Anglo as well. Enjoy!
